Bitterness

Bitterness is an evil fruit produce by one's unwillingness to forgive another his trespasses. Jesus told his disciples that they must forgive ALL others.Unforgiveness can make no alibi before God. It is without excuse. Furthermore, more unforgiveness brings a curse.

*The root of unforgiveness is bitterness if you do not deal with it.It will produce resentment to hatred*

Jesus taught that anyone who asked his forgiveness for their insurmountable sin debt and then refused to forgive another in the smallest matter would be turned over to the tormentors(Matt 18:21-35) The tormentors are demon spirits and to be under the power of evil spirits is a curse. The only way to escape the curse brought on by unforgiveness is through repentance towards God and forgiveness of all who need forgiving.

Bitterness and unforgiveness penalize both the unforgiving and unforgiven (John 20:23). When unforgiveness prevails two persons become entangled in a evil bondage. The unforgiven person is held unwilling in a broken relationship and unforgiving one is tormented. As the root of bitterness grows stronger through repeated rejections consequential feeding upon the hurts, it produce anger, hatred, retaliating, violence and murder (in that order.)

A spirit of memory recall is "a companion spirit" to bitterness, keeps the pain full memories of past hurts alive continually reviewing in ones mind the time and events of those hurt. A variety of weeds invades our garden. It is name the "careless weed". When it first appears, it is among the most frail of weeds. It can be plucked up with the fingertips. But the careless weeds grow very rapidly and within a few days will become taller than an eight foot stalk of corn.

It tap root will have increased to an inch or more in diameter and will be deepen into the soil. The tiny seeds of the careless weeds are multitudinous. A gardener knows that the time to deal with a careless weed is at the first sign of it appearance. Each of us is a spiritual gardener purposing to produce the fruit of the spirit which is love,joy,peace,long-suffering,gentleness,goodness,faith,meekness and temperance.(Gal 5:22-23;6:8-9).

Bitterness is the careless weed that would invade our garden. The sooner bitterness is dealt with the easier it is to destroy. Therefore, looking diligently lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and thereby be defiled.

*When you let bitterness inside you automatically backslide and fall from grace of God* Hebrew 12:14-15, Psalm 16:18*
